When equipped with the R&S FSH-K16, the R&S HA-Z240 GPS receiver and an antenna, the R&S FSH can analyze the geographical distribution of the received signal strength, enabling network operators to analyze the coverage conditions around the base station´s coverage area. The R&S FSH-K16 geotagging option can also be used by base station maintenance technicians to document and report on the map the site location where the measurements were performed. The measured data can be displayed on Google Earth for post processing, making it easier to recognize areas with poor coverage or high levels of interference.
