With a throw distance of approximately 3' (1 m), the SMART UF65 short-throw projector reduces shadows and makes images easier to see. It offers a high level of brightness at 2,000 lumens, and can display high-definition video. It can also display 3D images when used with 3D content and glasses.

The projector's extended control panel provides easy access to all audiovisual products in the classroom, enabling teachers to switch between inputs and access power and volume controls from one location. The UF65 is mounted directly above the interactive whiteboard for simple installation, and the swivel projector mount makes alignment easy. Maintenance is simple, too, thanks to the projector's long-lasting lamp and filter-free design. The UF65 is compatible with standard and widescreen models of SMART Board 600 and 800 series interactive whiteboards.
