About
Elenco Electroncis was founded in 1972 by Gil Cecchin and Art Seymour. These two engineers had a vision for Elenco to design and manufacture the most economical products that work better and longer than anything from the competition. The company has stuck to this vision since its founding. Originally, Elenco produced convergence generators specifically for TV repairmen. Today, the company has expanded and shifted its product line and currently manufactures a massive range of educational toys and an equally large range of test equipment. Elenco has seen consistent growth since its founding and today this continues. The company maintains a 60,000 square foot office and warehouse facility with about 50 employees. Today the Elenco product line also features more than 600 products.
As far as toys, Elenco is known for its award-winning Snap Circuits® line, Robot Kits, Project Labs, Engino® Construction line, and Tree Of Knowledge and Science Tech Science Toy Kits. Elenco Snap Circuits are probably the company's most popular electronics toy. These kits allow kids to safely create real circuits which turn on a light or emit a sound; there is almost no limit to the amount of creative circuits which can be made. Elenco's Test Equipment line includes soldering tools and accessories, oscilloscopes, clamp and multi meters, function generators, power supplies, and fiber optics tools. Many other test tools are also available. All these Elenco products are designed and manufactured with extreme precision through the use of CAD and other computer technologies.
